A lot of people wouldn’t think MrBeast is a good example of people getting rich. But MrBeast is one of the few examples that are interesting AND entertaining.
In The Beginning
Jimmy Donaldson was born on May 7, 1998. He originally started his content at a young age of 13. In 2012 under the nickname MrBeast6000 he started content on video games called Let’s Play. One of his videos “I Counted to 100,00” got so many views (around 10,000) in just days. As his crowd grew bigger he and his friends made more YouTube channels with MrBeast as a nickname.
MrBeast Now
MrBeast has 3 different ways he makes money now.
- YouTube (still popular)
- Sponsorships (with his fame people pay him money just to be sponsored)
- Buisness (Feastables, MrBeast Burger, Lunchly e.t.c.)
MrBeast currently has 480+ million subscribers. It’s the largest in the world. He is an investor and has invested in many businesses, tv shows, partnerships, companies and more. So he is not fully relying on 1 source of money making.
What Does This Have to Do with Money?
Becoming an entrepreneur doesn’t mean you have to do boring things that you don’t enjoy. You could do all sorts of things. The point of this blog is to show you that making money isn’t boring (it shouldn’t be) but you can have a good job that you ENJOY and still make a ton of money.
MrBeast still used some principles of making money. He invested in things he genuinely thought would be a hit. MrBeast made Lunchly (competing against Lunchables) and Feastables (a chocolate bar) which were a big hit because he thought of his viewers. Think about others in order to make money. You have to think about the costumer. After all, “the costumer is always right.”
