Just getting a job doesn’t mean you will keep it. Sometimes people get fired and have no idea why. It’s because they weren’t fun to be around and were always putting people down (not saying this is true for every case). Either that or they just didn’t do their jobs well.
- Be polite to everyone
Always be polite to everyone. You never know who will help you with your case. If anyone ever holds things against you, you will have a whole bunch of people on your side.
2. Be noticeable
Not super rude our loud. But people notice you for your good work and will rely on you more if you always are doing things well. Be noticeable but in a good way.
3. Be on time
Being on time helps you be prepared. No one likes coming to work and having to rush in order to get ready for their day. You never know when you might accidentally miss a huge meeting by being late. Always be on time.
4. Communicate
Update people on your work so others can work around it. Worst case scenario, your coworkers worked ahead of you, and you are lagging. If you ever have any questions, ASK. If you don’t ask most likely you will get lost and confused very easily.
5. Help others
When you help others don’t act as if you are a know it all. Don’t act superior to them. Instead, you can help them and gain their trust. Guess who they’re going to ask when they need help again? You. This will also gain popularity.
6. Stay calm in stressful times
Always remain calm. Even if you are fuming mad at someone, people who look controlled are respected. It helps your ego if you don’t get stressed out with one problem. Instead clear your head and think of a solution to your problem.
