Save at Cinemark

Cinemark is one of the best movie theaters in the US. Many people know this and visit their often. On busy Friday nights, Cinemark in all makes about $1,000-$2,000. Here are some ways to ensure that you aren’t spending a lot.

Tickets

To get cheaper tickets you should get standard seating. D-Box and Luxury Loungers cost more even though you are going to a 1-2 hour movie. This is one way you can help save money on tickets. Another way, is buying in advance if you know when you are going.

It is also cheaper to buy tickets in advance at Cinemark, so you save the tax of $3 per person if you bought tickets online. Also, if you don’t have a plan on when to go it is almost always cheaper to go on Tuesdays.

Food

When it comes to popcorn people try to buy little. Maybe a medium or a small. But then they go to the movie and eat all the popcorn before the ads are done. If you plan to eat a lot of popcorn it is best to get the refillable popcorn and just refill it.

The same goes for drinks. If you are planning to drink a lot then buy the large one so you can refill it later. For candy if you plan to buy for 4 people. It is cheaper to buy 2 candies for 4 people. Instead of buying 4 candies for $20+. Instead of trying new candies for the fun of it, choose candies you know you will eat. Save the new candy to try for when you go to Market Basket or something.

Others

Join movie club. Movie club offers a lot of discounts. But only join movie club if you know you go to the movies often enough. Also join the Cinemark rewards program. This can give you rewards the more you go to the movies. Ordering ahead will help you if you are rushed.
